One of the main reasons I hear for people not couponing is that they don't have enough time. I have found that the longer I coupon, the easier it gets. I think that's how it is with most things. You have to keep practicing with it. It can be easy to give up, but just think of how much money you're saving!
With a budget of $200 of month for groceries and diapers, I don't have time to NOT coupon. It's just a way of life for me. I do anything that relates to couponing early in the morning and during the afternoon when my toddler takes a nap.
When I got to the checkout at Fry's this morning, my heart was racing like it always does. I kept wondering, "Did I add everything up right?" "Am I going to go over budget?" Everything worked out PERFECTLY. I had enough cash to cover the transaction very easily.
Here's my trip:

Remember, plan your shopping trips around coupons that you DO have. Your trip will look completely different from mine, but that's okay! The goal is SAVE MONEY. You're doing a great job just by coming to this blog to learn.
